REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

The event tickets and products purchased at this website are non-refundable and we do not do any return, unless there are some health issues confirmed by the document signed by the doctor and sealed at the respective clinic, which can be sent with the detailed explanation of the reason for the return to info@touch.ge not more than 1 week before the event start date, with the Subject line “Return ticket because of health issues reasons”.

SECTION 6 ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

REFUND POLICY

We do not offer any refund to the products and services purchased via our website or our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, Twitter, LinkedIn). The tickets to the Touch.ge events can be purchased only on the websites of Touch.ge. No resellers or distributors are allowed to sell tickets to the Touch events. Touch is not responsible for tickets purchased at other places than the official event website, nor these tickets give access to the events by Touch.ge.

The only reason for a return is serious health issues that make it impossible attending the event, proved by the document signed by the doctor and sealed at the respective clinic, which should be sent to info@touch.ge not later than 1 week before the start date of the event.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and detailed explanation.

Please do not send your purchase back to us without notice.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

The tickets for Touch events are non-refundable under any circumstances except for the listed below:

- Health issues that will make it impossible for the customer to attend the event

In these cases, the customer should send a detailed explanation of the reason for the refund with the document signed by the doctor and sealed with the respective clinic to info@touch.ge not later than 1 week before the event starts.

If the customer does not attend the event, Touch will not do a refund or return any tickets. This is the customer’s choice to skip the event and the event organisers cannot change the event budget in case of the guest no-show, because the event is planned in advance.

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, suppliers and volunteers at our events are required to agree with the following Code of Conduct. Touch.ge team will enforce this code throughout all the events, programs and activities planned and organised under the touch.ge brand. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Any content that may somehow recall sexual images or examples of harassment aimed to explain the speakers talk or presentation, but that is not aimed for real harassme nt of any attendee, listener or reader of the online broadcast of the Tech Touch, may be allowed on the Summit under the strict and thorough control of the organizing team.

Participants that are asked by the organisers to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.

Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualised images, activities, or other material. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not use sexualised clothing/uniforms/costumes or otherwise create a sexualised environment. Using sexually underlined content or marketing tools by the exhibitors will not be allowed under any circumstances.

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the event organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the touch.ge events with no refund.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of Touch staff immediately. You can report any situations of the kind to our team email address: info@touch.ge

Touch events staff will be happy to help participants to feel safe for the duration of the touch.ge activities. We value your attendance.

We care about the health and safety of all our participants, therefore we organise the main program of the events online and remotely. Only if the local authorities allow us to gather over 10 people together can we organise offline networking events but for small groups of up to 50 people at one place, which will be well-ventilated and disinfected and follow all the rules and restrictions of the local authorities. The attendees that will be violating the announced safety restrictions will be asked to leave the event without any refund.

We expect participants to follow these rules at all the Touch-related social events.

Exclusive remote conference for startups - Startup Touch - opens call for the projects in the following industries and domains: enterprise solutions, cloud tech, 5G, AI, robotics, agritech, clean tech, future cars.

This will be interesting for startups from Central Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, Turkey and Central Asia.

Technology - Artificial Intelligence and all the related software and programs, engineering novelty, robotics, cloud technology, data science, 5G, drones and other autonomous flying vehicles, renewable energy and so on.

Enterprise solutions - B2B platforms and services that provide digital solutions for SMEs and/or corporate companies.

Cloud tech, 5G, AI, robotics - projects that are based on one or more of these technologies and providing the absolutely new approaches, methods or solutions using B2B or B2C models. We are looking for the new developments and applications of these technologies.

Agritech - various digital and technology applications used in agriculture and viticulture to automate processes and deliver more secure, healthy and proper methods of growing the harvest, as well as processing, distributing and delivering of the yields.

Clean tech - digital and technology solutions in the fields of renewable energy sources, power storage, environment protection, recycling, smart consuming, water desalination etc.

Future cars - new tech and solutions for flying cars, autonomous cars and the space industry and tourism.

Platforms, marketplaces, eCommerce - enabling digital systems for online trade and communication.

Application process

Any startup and team that is working on the mentioned technology or related to them can apply for Startup Touch 2020. By submitting the application, you agree to follow this policy and all the instructions we provide in the following emails. As otherwise, we will not be able to deliver the best experience to the startups that applied. You also agree to send and provide all the necessary information to the deadlines we set up. Application submission after the announced deadlines is not accepted.

After you submit the application, we will take up to 2 weeks to revise it and confirm it is the right project for Startup Touch. If we notice that you can get much more value out of Startup Touch by participating with another type of Pass (Participant, Student, Investor and Corporate passes are available besides a Startup Pass) - we will let you know about that in the follow-up email. You can reply to our emails to clarify any information.

If your project is eligible for Startup Touch, the further process is:
1) You receive the email with the link to get a Startup Pass for 1 person representing your company.
2) After you confirm your participation in response to that email, you’re automatically added to the shortlist for the Crash Test.
3) If you already have something to demonstrate to the public, we will invite you to participate in our Virtual Startup Expo, and ask you to provide the materials for it.
4) On 22 October, we will announce the TOP 20 startups out of all the Startup Pass holders that will take part in Pitch Night.
5) Some time before the conference, we will organise webinars for all the participating startups to be well-prepared for the event.
6) 1 week prior to the event, everyone will receive the email with access to the event of Startup Touch on Pine (event platform).

If your startup is selected for Pitch Night, you are automatically withdrawn from the list of the Crash Test participants.

Touch team will invite partners and investors from its network to help choose the TOP 20 startups.
We do not disclose the methods of the selection process. We can only mention that we will make sure to select the most promising startups from the region for which the pitching will be absolutely valuable and on time for their company to grow and scale.

If your project is not approved for the Virtual Startup Expo, you can deliver the presentation that will prove you should be placed there - and we will happily give it a try.

All the startups that got the Startup Pass get access to the bootcamp, pitching training, pre-arranged mentorship sessions with industry professionals, and an opportunity to pitch live to the investors and enterprise from Europe and beyond (if selected).

Projects of any kind from idea to expansion stage will find something useful during the event.

Crash Test - a virtual battlefield for presenting innovative ideas on the very early stage to potential investors and other event participants. Each participating startup has 1 minute for the presentation and can use slides to support it, and then 4 minutes on the feedback and questions from the international jury panel and the event guests. Only 1 person should be presenting the idea, in English.

Pitch Night - a virtual stage for selected 20 startups to present their projects to the international jury panel of investors, accelerators and corporate companies. Each participating startup has 3 minutes on the pitching and then 3 minutes on the Q/A with the jury panel. Only 1 person should be presenting the idea, in English, with slides.

Bootcamp - a series of workshops focused on startup growth and development.

Mentorship sessions - 25-minute long meetings between startup and specially invited mentors pre-arranged by the organisers based on the needs and industry of the startups.

Startups will also be able to arrange 1-1 calls with the investors and other attendees joining the event during the 2 days of the conference.

*The definitions hereinabove might not be universal and applicable at any other project, they are only reflecting the point of view and understanding of the organisers of the event.

NB! If you apply for this event, we would share your company description with our network with investors, and they would be expecting to see you at this conference. So, please, respect the time of other participants of the conference and make sure to show up at the event, or warn the organisers in advance about other representatives of your startups that would be attending it. It's a virtual event, there should be no issues of joining it.
